| Description |
The workshop on Pervasive eLearning (PerEL 2005) aims to address technical issues of pervasive computing in combination with new types and possibilities of learning, teaching and working. We are looking for results of theoretical, empirical, and practical studies. Topics of interest are all aspects of pervasive eLearning, including:
<li> mobile communication (asynchronous, synchronous),<li> service and session mobility as well as device independency,<li> techniques for cooperative learning or working,<li> document, knowledge, and service management,<li> realization of pervasive eLearning scenarios,<li> best practice studies and experiences,<li> mark-up languages and frameworks for eLearning,<li> tools and architectures for mobile/ubiquitous eLearning,<li> smart devices and device-independent presentation,<li> security and integrity in wireless environments,<li> eLearning networks,<li> models of pervasive eLearning (e.g. cooperative learning, structured blended learning).</ul>
The workshop wants to bring together researchers and developers from different technical and educational disciplines. We kindly invite authors to submit full papers on original and unpublished work. Accepted papers will be published by IEEE Computer Society Press.
