On 12 and 13 November 2004, undergraduates from North America and abroad join distinguished researchers at the Sigma Xi Annual Meeting and Student Research Conference for a celebration of research accomplishments.
Students present research posters, attend career development workshops, participate in mentoring and networking activities, panel discussions, and other events. Monetary awards will be presented for outstanding research.

Sigma Xi Meetings attract leading scientists of today and leading researchers of tomorrow.

Featured speakers include environmentalist and science communicator David Suzuki, Nobel Laureate in physics Murray Gell-Mann, Young Investigator Award Winner Jason Neih and astronaut Julie Payette.

The conference also provides graduate schools with the opportunity to recruit students through a variety of exhibit packages.

Additional Information

Student Registration is $50 US for Sigma Xi members and $65 US for non-members. Student registration includes several meals and social events. Discounts on lodging are available at the conference hotel.
