The Congress takes place in Poznan, Poland in June 25-29, 2005.
The 7th EACPT Congress will be held under the auspices of Aleksander Kwaœniewski the President of the Republic of Poland.

Around 1 000 delegates from and outside Europe is expected. We are at the stage of preparing a number of sessions and a wide range of workshops and sponsored symposiums that will cover the significant issues of clinical pharmacology and therapeutics as well as enjoyable social events. We also invite you to the accompanying events: III Congress of Polish Society for Clinical Pharmacology and Therapeutics and International Congress of Polish Herbal Medicine Committee

Poznañ is considered to be the fifth city in Poland regarding its population. Currently, 600,000 people live in the city. Its beginning goes back to the 9th century. The city is located in the region of Poland known as Wielkopolska. This region is considered to be the origin of Poland and its history. Poznañ, the capital of Wielkopolska region is an important centre for science, culture, industry and trade. It is conveniently located and accessible by rail or air from any corner of Europe.

We believe that EACPT 2005 in Poland - the country that has just joined the European Union - will mark new level of communication and collaboration between clinical pharmacologists from the whole Europe.
