As it happens in all the even years, the 2004 Show will have the participation of the equipment suppliers for both freight and passenger railways (subways and metropolitan trains). The 2003 Business on Rails show had more than 5 thousand professional visitors from railway operators, shippers, logistic service providers, officers from the government and other parties interested in the railway sector, who visited the 85 stands of 120 companies from 11 countries: Germany, Argentina, Canada, Spain, USA, Finland, England, Italy, Poland, Switzerland and Brazil.
At the 2003 Show the biggest booth belonged to the Associação Nacional de Transportadores Ferroviários - ANTF (National Association of Railway Companies) where the freight railway operators showed what they considered the most needed 500 parts for cars, locos and track. This represented an excellent opportunity to make business in an environment where the main purchasers are willing to know new suppliers. And ANTF has already confirmed the participation with a 460 sq. mts booth this year.

Other features of the shows are the conference presenting the business plans of the Brazililan railways and metros and the Amsted Maxion Railway Technology Award, that attracts to the Show the best specialists from the Brazilian railways.
