The Distance Learning (DL) workshop is a tremendous opportunity for faculty, staff, administrators, and training personnel who are interested in DL and its quality hallmarks. The bottom line outcome is that participants will be able to identify quality in courses and training delivered at a distance. The goal is to learn the principles and standards used by ACE in evaluating DL courses and in making academic credit recommendations.

Participants will have “hands on” experience reviewing various DL courses (delivered with different modalities), hear from experts in the field, and discuss the issues surrounding evaluation of DL courses. In the end, this workshop opportunity will enhance the participant’s eligibility to be considered to serve as an ACE course reviewer.
