The focus of this year’s conference is on concepts, approaches, methods and tools applicable to the field of Sustainable Regional Development, including their benefits and potentials as well as existing problems and challenges for the future.
The conference is open to policy-related and entrepreneurial decision makers, practitioners, researchers, students and any other persons interested in research and practice concerning Sustainable Regional Development. Participants from outside of the Nordic countries (Baltic Sea Region) are also very welcome.
Programme
The conference starts with one day of keynote speakers followed by parallel sessions, poster presentations and ends with a conference dinner. The 2nd day of the conference is dedicated to workshops (crash-courses) in a variety of software tools, methods and projects encompassing Regional Development.
Call for Papers!
We are currently welcoming papers from practitioners and experts within the field of Sustainable Regional Development. Deadline for paper submission is October 1st. Submission format and more information can be found at www.decision-support.info/conf2004.html.
