A very recent work investigation on the portuguese diplomat Amadeu Ferreira d'Almeida art collection identified in Portugal some unknown works of Rembrandt, Toulouse-Lautrec and Gauguin that will be presented next 28th of October during the 12nd Algarve Congress, in the south of Portugal.
The most important piece of art, according to the portuguese investigator André Neves Bento, working with Sotheby's, is a oil on canvas that represents Rembrandt beetween 1640 and 1652.
Andre Neves Bento will present this Rembrandt self-portrait as well as other works recently discovered in the public collection at the Faro Museum.
