ICSV12 is sponsored by the International Institute of Acoustics and Vibration (IIAV) and by Instituto Superior Técnico (IST), in cooperation with the Portuguese Acoustical Society (SPA), the Portuguese National Civil Engineering Laboratory (LNEC), the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) and the Spanish Acoustical Society (SEA).

Theoretical, applied and experimental research papers in the fields of sound and vibration and related subjects are solicited in the following areas:
