IIRs Cost and Contract Management for Clinical Trials

I. To gain the perspectives of Investigator Sites and CROs as well as sponsors on costing trials to minimize costs with a view to improving sponsors' negotiation, management and monitoring of budgets with investigator sites and CROs.
II. To assess strategic approaches that sponsors have adopted internally to effectively manage clinical trial costs and contracts. These include identifying and managing hidden costs and costs for international clinical trials; earned value analysis as a tool for clinical cost management and a fixed unit-priced budget model to support contracts for clinical trials in phases II-III, and later stages.
