In 2005 we plan to celebrate science along with Alberta's 100th birthday, making this a really special conference.

In recognition of Remembrance Day, we will be holding a brief commemorative service on the 11th.

There will be no less than eight top-class keynote speakers presenting over the three days of the conference. Six of these, including the Canadian Space Agency Robotics Scientist, are from Alberta. Our two other keynotes are from the University of Berkley in California.

There will be top class sessions and workshops for teachers from K to grade 12. This information will be available by July 2005.

We will also be challenging delegates with a "Celebration Science Olympics" organized by APEGGA. It will be lots of fun with great prizes.

Also, as part of the celebration we will be having an awards banquet and entertainment on Friday night with a return performance by Johnny “Bagpipes” Johnston with a new show and on Saturday evening there will be a wine and cheese with entertainment provided by singer-songwriter Phoebe Legere who is one of N. America’s best accordion players. If you wish to attend these events, please pre-register on the appropriate conference registration form.
