Milan, 15th december - ITER is proud to announce that, thanks to an authoritative Promoting Committee and to the hospitality of the Politecnico of Milan, from the 28th to the 29th of September 2005 will be held, at Polo Bovisa, the first edition of nanoforum, the expo-conference where research meets business.

Is well-known that microtechnologies are rather famous and applied in several spheres; on the other hand nanotechnologies, that only in the last years begun to be converted in concrete applications, symbolize so a potential as an invisible future.
The first experimentations have already started in the following areas: Environment, Energy, Materials, Health, Production, Instrumentation, ICT & Security and Services.
In other words, nanotechnologies are going to revolutionize a wide range of vital spheres.

Nanoforum aims at representing the italian event who allows meetings between traders and suppliers, giving them the opportunity to exchange information, to work out ideas and to start new projects, in other words: knowledge-sharing.

Thanks to the collaboration of Politecnico of Milan and to the participation of Authorities of the field, the first edition of nanoforum will be a meeting whose aims are:

1. the Italian entrepreneurial growth, with particolar reference to small and medium concern. Numerous and concrete projects have to born to reach innovative goals and new profitability.
With regard to this, several Companies, already active in this sphere, will testify their good results;

2. the development of an applied research tuned with industrial and market necessities.There will also be important answers for researcher workers to questions like:
§ How to verify potentiality of their research?
§ How to integrate it in an industrial plan?
§ How to protect Intellectual Property?
