| Description |
For the past 18 years the ACM Symposium on Applied Computing (SAC) has
been a primary forum for applied computer scientists, computer
engineers and application developers to gather, interact and present
their work. The ACM Special Interest Group on Applied Computing
(SIGAPP) is the sole sponsor of SAC. The conference proceedings are
published by ACM and are also available on the web through ACM's
Digital Library.
SAC is based on a flexible structure of mostly self-contained and
self-managed tracks. The 19th SAC will host 26 special tracks on such
topics as Agents, Bio Informatics, Databases, E-Commerce, Mobile
Computing, Multimedia, Web Technologies, etc. The technical program
includes the presentation of 280 papers which were accepted out of 787
submissions across all tracks. This presentation will be complemented
by a number of invited speaches and tutorials.
