The Eighth Annual Emerging Issues in Business and Technology Conference will convene October 28-30, 2004 at the Ocean Creek Resort in Myrtle Beach, SC. Sponsored by the Journal of Contemporary Business Issues and the College of Business and Technology at Western Illinois University, in cooperation with McGraw-Hill/Irwin, The Haworth Press, the University of Louisiana at Monroe and Youngstown State University, this conference provides multiple publication opportunities and a friendly forum where academicians and business practitioners can share insights on important business issues.
CALL FOR PAPERS: Paper submissions, both theoretical and applied, are now being accepted from authors in all business disciplines. Completed papers only, no abstracts please. We are interested in current and developing topics dealing with issues or innovative ideas affecting any facet of business. Authors may submit in any of the following tracks: Management & Leadership; Marketing; Teaching, Training & Learning; Finance and Accounting; Supply Chain Management; Internet Commerce; Ethics, Public Responsibility & Business Law; International Business; the Business Side of Healthcare; or Special Topics. Submission deadline is June 30, 2004. All papers accepted for and presented at the Conference will be published in the Conference Proceedings and are automatically considered for publication in the Journal of Contemporary Business Issues, the Services Marketing Quarterly, or the Journal of Internet Commerce. All three journals are listed in Cabell's directories of publishing opportunities.
