The second workshop on Biosensor for Food Safety and Environmental Monitoring will be held in Agadir (Morocco), from 10th to 12th November, 2005. This workshop will bring together experts and those who are interested in the themes of the workshop. It will include plenary lectures, oral and poster presentations. It follows the same aims as the previous workshop organized in Marrakech in 2003.
Location
Agadir is a most magnificent natural setting which was chosen for the most beautiful, the most highly regarded and the most hospitable of all Moroccan seaside resorts.
Agadir is the ideal destination for winter sunshine seekers. It offers a beautiful beach with fine sand, sunshine 300 days a year, many luxury hotels (20 000 beds, i.e. a quarter of the total Moroccan hotel capacity) and holiday centres on the coast.
It’s also known for water-skiing, diving, deep sea fishing, traditional dancing and for its special cuisine. Outside Agadir there are many tourist attractions; the fortress-like 16th century Kasbah, Sahara dunes and also tennis and golf courses.
Several International Airlines connect directly to Agadir. It is also easily reached from Casablanca International airport.
