| Description |
The National Conference on Rapid Design, Prototyping, and Manufacturing has become a regular event for the research and development community. Organised jointly by the Centre for Rapid Design and Manufacture at Buckinghamshire Chilterns University College and the Lancaster Product Development Unit at Lancaster University, this annual conference offers comprehensive coverage of Advanced Manufacturing Technologies.
Particular encouragement is given to the participation of young researchers, and to this end, the National Conference is organised as a non-profit making event, with the attendance fees kept as low as possible.

6th National Conference on Rapid Design, Prototyping and Manufacturing, 10th June, 2005
This annual conference, hosted by the Centre for Rapid Design and Manufacture in High Wycombe, is a one day event and is jointly organised with the Lancaster Product Development Unit, Department of Engineering, Lancaster University.
Submitted papers are peer-reviewed to ensure that all accepted contributions are of a high scientific standard and the Conference Proceedings are published in a book format by Professional Engineering Publications. In order to encourage the participation of young researchers, this Conference is being organised as a non-profit making event and the attendance fees are being kept as low as possible.
The venue for this conference is the High Wycombe Campus of the Buckinghamshire Chilterns University College. Registration will start at 9.00 am on Friday, 10 June. The approximate cost to attendees for this conference is £65 for non-students and £45 for students including a copy of the proceedings. Student accommodation is available if required at a cost of about £25 for the night of the 9 June.
