Sea levels are at the highest they have been for 140,000 years and further rises are predicted, according to the Environment Agency. More flooding of property and land, more loss of habitat and more erosion, are forecast. Pressures for economic growth add to the problems and local communities now play their part in plans for coastal protection.

If you are involved in coastal management at any level whether it be with the engineering and construction side or dealing with plans and development or representing local community forums and environment agencies... THIS EVENT IS NOT ONE TO BE MISSED.
In addition to the main programme there will be a discussion forum, and those attending this conference, will be able to address and discuss the major issues:
· FUNDING: UK and Europe
· LEGISLATION: future plans
· STATISTICS: facing up to reality
· TECHNIQUES: keeping up
· SOCIOECONOMICS: the human impact
