Caspian, Central Asia and Black Sea Energy Ministers and senior State Oil and Gas company representatives from Turkey, Russia, Ýran, Kazakhstan, United States, France, Germany, Pakistan, Greece, Georgia, Ukraine and Bulgaria will meet at an annual summit in Ankara on 28-30 March to discuss key regional issues. The summit will be officially hosted and opened by Dr. Hilmi Güler, Minister of Energy and Natural Resources, Turkish State Petroleum Company (TPAO) and Turkish Pipeline Company (BOTAÞ).
Turkey’s geo-political location makes it a natural energy bridge between Asia and Europe and a gateway for international investment into the Caspian region and Central Asia. The impostance of oil and gas exploration and production and the transit regional energy supplies to key regional and international markets is recognized by the Governments of the Black Sea, Caspian and Central Asia States as one of the key factors for economic and social stability and developpment of the region.
The Turkish Ýnternational Oil and Gas Exhibition will be held alongside the 3rd Caspian and Black Sea Oil and Gas Conference at the Bilkent Hotel and Conference Centre on 28-30 March 2005. TUROGE will be host to exhibitors from the international and local oil and gas transport companies, oil investigation firms, pipeline production companies, international energy companies, drilling and offshore companies etc, operating in the region and is the only oil and gas exhibition in Turkey for the Caspian upstream and downstream oil and gas sector as well as Turkey.Over 5000 international and local oil and gas visitors are expected to the attend the 3 day exhibition.
