This course is designed to provide the practicing radiologist an overview of and update on clinically relevant topics in diagnostic and interventional radiology. The course will stress practical issues in imaging: applications of multidetector row CT and MRI for the diagnosis of neural axis, thoracic, cardiovascular, and breast diseases; interventional procedures in the chest, breast, abdomen and pelvis; sonographic evaluation of the normal and abnormal fetus; conventional mammography and adjunctive breast imaging modalities as well as evaluation of the pediatric patient and contrast media reactions.
