Additional Information

The attendees of the Workshop are two types: Egyptian radio regulators and Arab amateur radio leaders. The formers are nominated by both NTRA and NTI from among their employees that are involved in radio regulations, frequency management, frequency monitoring, and licensing. The latters are nominated by their national societies. Invitations have been sent out to all Arab amateur societies that are members of the IARU R1. Confirmations have thus far been received from Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Algeria, and Tunisia. We have not been able to establish contact with the following countries: Qatar, Bahrain, Oman, Jordan, and Morocco. Sudan, Saudi Arabia, and Libya can attend if they wish to. Any help informing and attracting these missing countries would be greatly valued. The IARU R1 covers the travel and hotel expenses for only one amateur per society; others are welcome at their expense. Lunch and refreshments will be served for all attendees, courtesy of NTRA.
