The Government of Alberta invites you to learn more about how the environment is being managed in Alberta.

Alberta’s Environment Conference 2005 will profile key environmental initiatives, activities and policies of government departments and agencies.

The conference will focus on these themes:

-Partnering for Success: New partnerships to support environmental management.
-Sharing Knowledge: New research results, environmental monitoring and reporting and current challenges
-Future Trends: The vision for environmental management and resource development, new approaches and strategies for managing Alberta’s Environment.
-Programs and Policy: New programs to support environmental management. Government-wide policy development, flexible tools for managing the environment.

Managers, decision-makers, educators and others from industry, municipal governments, First Nations, non-government environmental organizations and the public are invited.

The conference will include presentations, discussion panels, and poster sessions. Theme-based sessions will lead to feedback and discussion.
