A wide media spectrum is present in the information society: websites, multimedia encyclopedias, galleries, electronic periodicals, computer games, pedagogic programmed aids including electronic handbooks, movies and video films, advertising movies, radio and TV programs, slides, etc.
SUGGESTED SESSION TOPICS:
1.Media in history: pedagogical perspective and retrospective.
2.Civic and patriotic education: media in social life – political campaigning.
3.Labor and economic education: media in advertising and marketing.
4.Aesthetic education: media in art and literature.
5.Environmental education: media in environmental activism and ecotourism.
6.Media as a creative product and creative environment.
7.New media culture of interpersonal communication.
Technical descriptions of media, research with emphasis on media’s didactic efficacy at ignorance of their potential in cultivating values, molding individual/public opinion, purely literary analyses of various texts/images at ignorance of their representation in media are not on the conference’s profile and will not be accepted.
THE CONFERENCE AUDIENCE
Invited to participate are pedagogues, psychologists, sociologists, graduate and master students, educators – schoolteachers and university faculty, specialists employed in cinema, radio, and television, journalists, image makers, website designers and administrators, other relevant and interested people.
THE CONFERENCE WORKING LANGUAGES:
Belarusian, Russian, Ukrainian, and English.

Participation without presentation and publication is also possible. However, all prospective participants are strongly encouraged to become actual presenters and authors.
The conference peer review committee of scholars resident in Belarus, Russia, Ukraine, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, and USA will review the submitted papers. The international review committee reserves the right to edit, to distribute on sessions, and to decline papers in bad standing of the guidelines, scientific level, and/or problematic of the conference.
