PURPOSE
The International Conference on Computers and Advanced Technology in Education (CATE 2005), sponsored by IASTED, will act as a major forum for the presentation of innovative developments and the exchange of information between researchers and practitioners on the use of technology in education. All papers submitted to this conference will be peer evaluated by at least two reviewers. Acceptance will be based primarily on originality and contribution.

Modelling, Simulation, and Optimization (MSO 2005)


LOCATION
CATE 2005 will be held on the beautiful island of Aruba which lies at the heart of the southern Caribbean, just off the northern coast of South America and about two-and-a-half hours by air from Miami, Florida. This Caribbean island is only 20-miles long, yet features a diverse landscape. The waters off the east coast are rough, and rolling with breakers, and the coastline is dotted with caves, dunes, and desert landscapes as well as world-famous natural rock bridges. The west coast boasts smooth, sandy beaches, lush flora, and vibrant underwater life in clear, azure waters. Oranjestad, Aruba’s capital city, is located on the picturesque southern coast and its unique architecture blends historical Dutch tiles and carved wooden doors, with Aruban sloping roofs and airy courtyards.
