Description

There has never been a time as now for being involved in the Nigerian Power ector. With the Electri Power Reform Bill being passd into law, the field is set one of the most vibrant and profitable sectors of the Nigerian economy to unfold. The legislation demands the unbundling of the government owned monopoly as approved by the government, and will lead to the transformation of Nigeria's vertically integrated industry into a competitive, liberalized market over the two to five years.

Foreign Investment is needed to refurbish and upgrade much of Nigeria's existing electricity infrastructure as well as to install new capacity. Electricity demand has been rising since 1999 and is expected to grow at an average of 3.2 per cent per year until 2050.

Nigeria Power is dedicated to connecting International Power Professionals with their Nigerian conterparts. Attend Nigeria Power 2005 as an Exhibitor, Delegate or Visitor and make important connections that hold the key to success in this fast evolving and vibrant sector.
