Government has traditionally been the most reliable provider of health and benefits programs to the civil service with over 14 trillion dollars represented by its various schemes. As with the corporate sector however, it is not immune from the reduced returns that have been seen from traditional investments and must ensure the viability of these programs in the long term. Various strategies are being implemented by the current administration to guarantee these benefits for the younger generation of public employees as well as coping with the challenges of GASB legislation and Medicare issues.

The GovBenefits Summit will bring together senior Federal, State and Local government executives for three days of networking and information sharing on areas of mutual concern including the proposed new amendments to the social security system.

The GovBenefits Summit provides an environment in which industry leaders will offer valuable insight into benefit management strategies through a proactive series of keynote presentations, conference sessions, and interactive think tanks and one-on-one meetings with solution and service providers in this sector.
