Theme 2-- KM Applied Sciences -- Provides a solid foundation in the core sciences that are key to successful KM implementation
including social interaction & networking, strategic management, systems
thinking, strategic thinking, KM strategic planning and performance metrics.
Theme 3 -- KM Implementation -- Provides additional focus on KM strategy (including vision/mission), best practice performance
measurement systems (including Balanced Scorecard), building the KM business case (return-on-investment, life cycle costs, Knowledge-Value-Added, cost-benefit analysis, payback period and financial support metrics), force field analysis, and implementation issues including "grass roots" KM, building collaborative networks and Communities of Practice, and KM technology.
Theme 4 -- Leading & Managing KM --
Addresses the biggest challenge of KM implementation which is the leading and
managing of a KM effort. Focuses on coverage of KM process facilitation, diagnostic-intervention, KM facilitative techniques, leading change & change management strategies, storytelling and KM leadership roles.
