The SPIE symposium series on Fluctuations and Noise (FaN) is aiming to cover the most important fields of today's noise research, including biology, biomedicine, materials, magnetism, devices, reliability, circuits, optics, nonlinear systems, environment, nanotechnology, classical and quantum information, quantum computing, communication, wireless, economical fluctuations, etc. Though many subject-specific conferences have been organized and there are some conference series with a narrower focus, FaN is the only meeting series to picture the global developments in the field.
