Minitrack at the 39th Hawaii International Conference on System Sciences (HICSS-39), Internet & Digital Economy Track; January 4-7, 2006; Poipu Beach, Kauai.

The Internet and wireless communication networks are transforming how society handles the explosive growth yet dwindling lifespan of environmental information. Addressing this transition to a knowledge-based economy, the interdisciplinary Minitrack on Environmental Online Communication investigates the role of the Internet in advocating sustainability and ecosystem protection.

Submissions may be theoretical, conceptual, tutorial or descriptive in nature.
