Molecular Genetics of the Mind to be held on Heron island on the Great Barrier Reef in Australia for three days beginning 16th October 2005

Ten international speakers present work that links molecular genetics and mental functioning. The topics include the molecular genetics of: cognition and memory, brain evolution, neurological disorders, emotions, language, and brain development.

Other participants can present shorter talks.

The proceedings of the Meeting are being published annually in a special edition of the journal Genes, Brain and Behaviour.

By inviting an eclectic group of speakers the meeting encourages the establishing of interdisclipinary collaborations
