Two separately bookable modules

Day 1 : Asian Stainless Steel Flat Products

Asia is emerging as the most dynamic region in the world for stainless steel production and consumption. Inter-regional competition has caused Asian companies to create future strategies for an age of global competition. Key issues that need to be addressed are: New capacities – will there be oversupply? Will the production cost advantage in Asia be sustainable? Protectionism – do we have to expect dumping cases? Are there too many players? Will consolidation start in Asia as well? Future market growth – is saturation a real risk?
This module will for the first time focus on the strength and weaknesses of the individual markets: China, Taiwan Province, Japan, South Korea and the rest of Asia. Specialists from each market will give delegates a comprehensive view of the Asian industry. It is the premier event to discuss the latest developments in the industry with consumers and producers.

Day 2 : Asian Stainless & Special Steel Long Products

The alloy and stainless steel long products market is fundamentally different from the stainless steel flat products industry. Here the market is driven by powerful end-users like automotive, power generation or various process industries.

In this module leading suppliers and users from China and other Asian countries will discuss key issues within the following specific sessions: stainless steel long products, tool and high-speed steels, forging and automotive steels, bearing steels, production technology. This module is the perfect forum for panel discussions with leading executives and networking with your peers in the industry.
