The purpose of this activity is to educate the whole dental team on how technology can smoothly transition a dental practice to a higher level of efficiency, patient care, professional satisfaction, and profit

Preliminary Objectives for Activity:
“At the conclusion of this activity, participants should be able to:
· Select and integrate technology into their practice the right way, keeping doctor and team in their comfort zones
· Incorporate digital radiography, clinical practice management software, intra oral cameras, laser caries detectors, patient education systems, and CAD/CAM (CEREC 3-D) into their dental practice
· Determine the differences between direct digital sensors and indirect digital “image phosphor” technology and choose the appropriate technology for their practice
· Reduce expenses and increase productivity by adding digital radiography to their dental practice
· Define the role of hygienists, assistants, and the team in practice management, technology, and marketing.
