The Hague Conference on the International Legal System will be addressed by senior officials of various international organizations and research institutions and practitioners of courts, and visits will be made to the Peace Palace for the institutions located there, the World Court, the Permanent Court of Arbitration and, the Hague Academy of International Law.
Visits will also be made to the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia, and the new International Criminal Court. Amongst the other institutions the conference will examine will be the Hague Conference on Private International Law, the T.M.C. Asser Institute, the Carnegie Foundation, the Netherlands Institute of International Relations "Clingendael", the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe, the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons, Europol and Eurojust.
There will be conference sessions on Monday 26 September, Tuesday 27 September, Thursday 29 September and Friday 30 September. Visits to institutions will be at various times during the week.
There will be a reception for delegates on Sunday evening 25 September 2005. A conference dinner will be held on Wednesday evening, 21 September 2005.

AICLS cannot guarantee that accompanying persons not registering for the conference can be accommodated at all or any sessions of the conference.
For an accompanying person not registering for the conference but wishing to attend the conference dinner there will be a charge of $AU75.00.
The fee does not cover airfares or accommodation.
