The InnovationWell US Autumn 2005 InterAction Meeting will be taking place at Bryn Mawr College, Philadelphia, US, 11-12 October. Program information and registration is available through the InnovationWell website athttp://innovationwell.net/ The theme of the program is Knowledge-based Innovation in Life Science Product Development.
The meetings will focus on innovative approaches and solutions relevant to today's key business issues in improving drug discovery and development productivity, enhanced confidence in drug safety and improved life science product knowledge management. The program sessions involving over 50 top presenters and discussion leaders will cover the following topics:
Drug Safety Knowledge Management, Confidence Levels & Safety Signals, Improving Clinical Trial Effectiveness, Predictive Toxicology, Improving Drug Pipeline Productivity, Drug Discovery Innovation, Knowledge-based Intellectual Property Management, Auditing and Investment, Applying Complex System and Semantic Approaches to Drug Development and Safety, Knowledge Management in R&D, Knowledge Transfer to Manufacturing

Attendance at either the US or European InnovationWell Community of Practice meeting includes web-based access to all seminars and proceedings from the other. The community addresses key business issues on an ongoing basis through a combination of face-to-face meetings and virtual communications.
InnovationWell's InterAction Meetings bring together executives and experts from different disciplines with the common interest of improving the productivity, effectiveness and safety of life science products and healthcare solutions through improved knowledge-based innovation management
The InterAction Meeting format places a strong emphasis on discussion and networking for the exploration of specific industry issues driven by a problem-solving agenda, including case studies, customer-supplied issues, strategies, integrative approaches, etc. Background materials are made available on the website before the meeting, so that more time at the meeting can be used for in-depth discussions. Short presentations are given at the meeting to give a starting point for panel discussions and break-out sessions.
Those who cannot make the meetings in person can register to access all presentations and discussions through the InnovationWell website. Registrants for the US meeting will also be able to access the full proceedings with audio of the equivalent European meeting being held in Basel, Switzerland 9-10 November.
