Cambridge Healthtech Institute’s Emerging Company Partnering Showcase is now in its ninth year and will continue to serve as the Opening Forum for the Molecular Medicine Tri-Conference 2006. CHI is collecting speaker proposals and company nominations for presentations. Companies are selected from the best proposals, and assigned to one of two concurrent tracks, for concise presentations as to what the company has to offer, and what types of deals would be of interest.
Are you aware of an early-stage company developing promising tools for drug development, or diagnostic or therapeutic products, and that has a strong interest in corporate partnering? We are interested in receiving nominations for such companies, to add to the extensive list of startups that we have been identifying. Our goal is to get in touch with as many such companies as possible, in order to request proposals for inclusion in CHI’s Emerging Company Partnering Showcase.
This format has been designed to meet the needs of senior managers working with Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology and Drug Development Technology companies, with responsibility for partnering and collaborations. Because of the early-stage focus of the selection process, the event has also proven to be of interest to venture capitalists and others with a financial interest in the field. Companies interested in being considered for the Showcase should provide a brief summary of what the company has to offer, how if differs from competitors, and what type of partnering deals would be of interest. Two tracks of company presentations will run concurrently, one for technology platform and diagnostic companies and another for therapeutic drug development companies. At the end of the morning and afternoon sessions there will be a break-out session, to provide the audience with an opportunity to meet with the presenting companies individually. Attendees registered for the event will have a chance to contact presenters prior to the meeting to initiate discussions and to sign up for time to meet with one or more presenting companies.
