Selecting and validating targets from known pathways, and identifying novel targets from existing or new pathways, remains a critical challenge to filling the pipeline with new drugs. RNAi, used in combination with the expression profiling of genes and proteins, has revolutionized the biological validation of drug targets. This meeting will highlight technologies used to decipher the function of key pathways, and address the selection of
pharmacologic compounds that show desired physiologic function in vivo when modulating a target.
Who should attend: Vice Presidents, Chief Executive Officers, Chief Scientific Officers, Directors of R & D, Senior Managers, Managers, Directors, Senior Scientists, and Senior Researchers in Genetics, Functional Genomics, Molecular Biology, Bioinformatics, Target Validation, Drug Discovery, and R&D.
