Description

A key challenge in pursuing the new kinds of joint, global, rapid-deployment operations the military must undertake in the 21st century is providing a new fleet of capabilities and platforms to meet our strategic and tactical airlift requirements. OSD and the Services are responding by developing new roadmaps and master plans that will incorporate new platforms, upgrades to workhorse systems, as well as new strategies for forward positioning of airlift capabilities.

This conference is designed to bring you up to date with the latest information on airlift requirements, programs, and technological advances … brought to you by the key experts from government and industry who are working in this dynamic arena.

What are the Service needs for strategic and theater heavy lift? What is the status for developing future air mobility roadmaps and master plans? What is the status and forecast for key programs – JHL, M-X, FCA, etc.? What are the plans for upgrading workhorse systems such as the CH-53, C-130, C-17, etc.? What new capabilities in fixed wing, rotorcraft, V/STOL and unmanned systems can be expected? When? These and many other critical questions will be addressed during this outstanding two-day event.
