"Opening Doors" 2005 is a conference for professionals, employers, self advocates, parents and community members focusing on providing information and training in the areas of disability awareness, mental health issues, developmental disability services, professional/personal growth, leadership & supervision, self advocacy and eary childhood services. Our conference features nationally renowned speakers: Dr. David Pitonyak, Richard Pimentel, Dr. Tom Pomeranz, Lynne Seagle and Camille Catlett.

Thursday All Day Pre-Conference Workshop (A or B) $25 per person (lunch not included) Saturday-Only All Day Workshop for Child Care Providers $25 per person (lunch included) Accommodations - DoubleTree Riverside Hotel in Boise, Idaho is the host hotel for the 2005 “Opening Doors” conference. The DoubleTree Riverside offers excellent convention facilities. A block of rooms for conference attendees has been reserved for single or double occupancy ($79 per room per night). Be sure to inform the reservation clerk that you are with the Community Partnerships of Idaho conference to get the preferred rates. Reservations must be made by 10/13/05. Certificate of Completion - A Certificate of Completion is available to participants attending the conference for a fee of $15. The certificate will indicate which sessions you attended, speaker, speaker credentials and length of each session. CRC’s are Available - The Idaho Division of Vocational Rehabilitation will make available CRC credits for those attending the conference. Sign-up sheets will be provided for each session. Scholarships - Several of our sponsors are providing a number of scholarships. There are two scholarship categories: 1. Parents/Self-Advocates; and 2. Direct Support Professionals.
