Description

In the field of biomedicine, Regenerative Medicine is among the areas with the most pronounced and dynamic development, both nationally and internationally. In the future, Regenerative Medicine is expected to provide cures for a number of medical conditions, including most of the widespread diseases with high morbidity, considerable restrictions in the quality of life, and high costs for the public health system. This modern branch of medicine requires interdisciplinary collaborations between a multitude of specific areas and technological fields. But Regenerative Medicine not only opens up new options for therapeutic treatments. It also provides new opportunities for research, technology and economic development in Germany and Europe in the face of international competition.
National and international participants from politics, medicine, research, academics and industry as well as selected media representatives guarantee a highly qualified and productive debate about the current status of Regenerative Medicine.
The German Society for Regenerative Medicine e.V. (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Regenerative Medizin, GRM) supports and fosters the dialogue between prominent opinion leaders from medicine, industry, research, politics, ethics and the media. The GRM regularly organises national and international symposia and fora.
