Justice and court systems is an integral part of how the world views the investment climate in a country. Participation on this forum for improving the existing system will send a positive and encouraging message to the world.
Delayed and complicated litigation in Pakistan has for a long time acted as a deterrent for many investors be it foreign or local and have made them redirect their investment from Pakistan to other more favorable jurisdictions. A favorable jurisdiction for arbitration and mediation is the need of the hour, which will create a harmonious investment environment.
The objective of this conference is to provide a solution by offering an alternative medium, other than litigation, for settling commercial disputes lawfully in order to make Pakistan a business friendly environment in form of establishment of an arbitration center in Pakistan.
