This conference showcases outstanding clinicians, researchers, and teachers, who address current issues in the rapidly changing field of diagnostics ultrasound. A broad range of topics are presented that will be beneficial to technologists, physicians, health-care administrators, biomedical engineers, and students involved in the many aspects of the medical sonography profession. This comprehensive educational forum not only covers topics related to current practice, but also highlights new developments in our field.

General sessions and specialty lectures are offered to allow all participants to gain relevant CME credits throughout the meeting. The first session begins on Friday evening and ends Saturday. Bring a sweater to the conference, as comfort level in the room varies for individuals.

Southwest Virginia Ultrasound Society is associated with the Society of Diagnostic Medical Sonography. Application of 16 hours has been made to the SDMS for CME credit. The Physician or Sonographer will receive credit only for those hours actually spent in the educational activity.
