Congress
Nanotechnology in Northern Europe Congress and Exhibition was arranged for the first time in April 2005. The congress collected over 350 experts, scientists, entrepreneurs and investors to Helsinki to share their views on latest research and commercial development of nanotechnology. The congress was opened by European Commissioner for Science and Research Janez Potocnik and the key note speaker was Nobel Laureate Professor Alan J. Heeger.
NTNE 2006 congress will continue to build on the strong foundation created by the first event. In 2006, the congress will focus on selected key themes that are linked to North European strengths both in research and industry. Carefully planned sessions create a profound scientific discussion that extends to industrial applications and commercialisation issues.
