* presentation of today uses and limitations of satellite positioning (GPS) technology in the marine activity: navigation, dynamic positioning, submarine positioning, scientific applications,…
* presentation the EGNOS system (european area),
* presentation the GALILEO system for sea environments,
* pointing out specific problems due to sea environments,
* new technologies and services based on GALILEO for sea issues (antenna, transmissions, Search And Rescue SAR …).
