Following the sucess of the third edition of ICSTEST-E in Spain, SQS, S.A., launches and welcomes you to a fourth edition of this conference. The objective of ICSTEST-E is to serve as a platform for the exchange of experience in methodologies and tools for quality assurance. ICSTEST-E concentrates in embedded software, safety critical and real time Systems.
The conference is mainly directed towards, decision makers such as Directors, Programme Managers, Project Managers as well as Testing Professionals or University professionals with research work in the area of embedded system testing. Each conference track has been designed for Business Professionals and Testing Professionals.
Leading industry experts and researchers are invited to share their experience in the areas of methodologies and testing for embedded software. There are two presentation formats:
- Tutorials: will provide a complete overview of a technology and/or methodology, explainig in a clear and concise way, the practical aspects for its implementation. They must give the keys to the sucessful implementation of an specific technology in a company. Tutorials will last 4 hours.
- Paper presentations: will give detailed insight into methods and tools used in practical project work as well as lessons learned from their use. Also the latest research results will be shared in paper presentation. Paper presentations will last 45 minutes.
Deadline and format for proposals
If you were interested in presenting either a tutorial or paper, please send us an abstract of it before April 15th 2005.

An International Committee of Experts will evaluate the information received. All the applicants will be informed about results of the evaluation during the month of May. A headline as well as an abstract of the contents must be delivered for each paper or tutorial. The five main statements of the presentation must be clearly outlined. The contact data as well as a short biography of the autor (s) also need to be included in the delivered document. Topics of the ICSTEST-E 2005 are, among others: Transportation and Safety-Critical Systems, Testing Automation of Embedded Systems, Quality Management, Unit and Integration Testing, Methodologies fro Management and planning in projects, Industry real experiences, Verification and Validation, Techniques for real time systems, Methodologies and tools for requirement management, Advanced tools for the support and automation of processes, Static and Dynamic analysis, Configuration Management, Reviews and Inspections and Norms and standards.
The best speaker in the conference will receive an award for best paper of ICSTEST-E.
