| Description |
The purpose of the FEW is to share and discuss ideas to further improve the efficiency and economics of ethanol production. 2005 will mark another exciting year for the FEW. New "biorefining" concepts and
technologies, feedstocks, and integrated process designs are expanding the value-added
nature of the industry. The industry is reaching, if not exceeding, its goals of improving
production efficiency while reducing costs, enabling ethanol production to become a more
vital and sustainable energy industry. New technologies utilizing non-traditional feedstocks
continue to make ethanol production viable in more regions of the world.
