| Description |
Gender sensitivity is an important component of a democratic society. The objectives of this conference are:
- to stimulate debate on gender both nationally and internationally;
- to increase awareness if the intersection of race, class and gender, and the social and cultural construction of gendered identity;
- to provide opportunities for graduate students as well as established researchers to refine their research skills and identify new areas for research and scholarship;
- to provide opportunities for networking and collaboration.
