2nd CIIT Workshop on Research in Computing (CWRC Fall 2005)
to be held at
COMSATS Institute of Information Technology (CIIT), Lahore
November 18, 2005
COMSATS Institute of Information Technology, Lahore is inviting the authors to submit unpublished original research work for presentation at CWRC, Fall 2005. The presented and finally accepted papers shall be published in the workshop
proceedings. The one-day workshop will cover all aspects of computing including but not limited
to the following areas:
Theoretical Computer Sciences Computer Architecture
Computer Networks Artificial Intelligence
Signal Processing Software Engineering
Distributed Systems Object Oriented Design and Analysis
Databases Computer Vision and Graphics
Wireless Communications Operating Systems

Monday, September 26, 2005: Complete Manuscripts
Wednesday, October 19, 2005: Acceptance Notification
Saturday, October 29, 2005: Camera Ready Papers Due
Friday, November 18, 2005: Workshop
Workshop Venue and Date:
The 2nd CIIT Workshop on Research in Computing will be held at COMSATS Institution of
Information Technology, Lahore Campus on Friday, November 18, 2005. The CIIT, Lahore is
located on Defence Road, off Raiwind Road, Lahore which is about ten kilometers from Thokar
Niaz Baig towards Raiwind.
Paper Submission Guidelines:
Only electronic submission will be accepted. Please submit completed manuscript to
cwrc@ciit.net.pk. Manuscript should be submitted in a double-column single-space, Times New
Roman (Size=11) format. Final Version of paper including figures, should not exceed eight A4
size pages in single-space double-column format.
