Conference: Thursday, April 20 through Saturday, April 22
In recent years, the field of health communication has been attracting increased attention given the growing recognition of the role that communication plays in enhancing health promotion and disease prevention. Now more than ever, it is critical that we become aware of and help disseminate cutting-edge communication research to advance theory and practice across the major areas of research, including patient-provider communication, mass media and public communication campaigns, and information technology. KCHC is designed to bring health communication researchers, practitioners, and students together to share research, discuss current issues, and develop working relationships in a lively conference setting.
