The conference organizing committee for ICTe Africa 2006 is pleased to invite the submission of biographies of potential speakers and abstracts for presentations or publication on or before January 30 2006.
This conference and tutorial program will bring together engineers, scientists, developers, government leaders, corporate managers, educators, financiers and project representatives from all over Africa and abroad. The conference will be organized into one common plenary session and three tracks as follows:

Fiber optics 101
Internet protocol
Broadband Internet networks
Data center design
GSM cellular
VOIP
Please note that the above list is a guideline of the topics to be covered but it is not an exhaustive list of topics that will be accepted for presentation.
Instructions:
Biographies should be no more than 200 words long and should preferably be in English. You may also submit a digital photo, which will be used in the online and printed editions of the conference programme, if your paper is selected. Authors are requested to submit a 300-500 word abstract of their proposed paper, or a 300 -500-word description of their proposed technical tutorial. Abstracts will be evaluated by the technical committee for content, relevance, originality, clarity and timeliness. You will be informed of the decision of the Committee by 30 March 2006. The conference is NOT the venue for sales presentations; there are other opportunities within the ICTe Africa event for advertising, sponsorship and product showcase.
