International Conference on Infant Studies — June 19 - 23, 2006 — Kyoto, Japan
The International Society on Infant Studies will hold its fifteenth biennial meeting in Kyoto, Japan, June 19-23, 2006, co-sponsored by the Japan Society for Baby Science. The theme and goal of the 2006 conference is to promote the internationalization of infancy research, through combined presentation and conversation. Instead of the usual mix of 90% presentation, 10% discussion, 2006 conference events will be approximately ⅔ presentation, followed by ⅓ open discussion. We hope thereby to foster a generative focus on the questions, problems, findings and possibilities of the research interests that infancy investigators share—at modest cost, in the richly historic, exquisitely beautiful, international-visitor-friendly city of Kyoto, Japan
