| Description |
The chemical societies of the South-east European countries since 1998 biannually have been organizing their common conference. So far four conferences have been organized with more than 2500 lectures and posters presented from researches all over the world.
The organization of the 5-th conference which will be held from September 10-13, 2006 in Ohrid, Macedonia has been entrusted to the Society of Chemists and Technologists of Macedonia.
Following previous practice the Conference will be organized in plenary lectures, thematic debates, and symposia with oral presentations and poster sessions. The following areas will be covered:
- Analytical chemistry
- Organic chemistry
- Spectroscopy and structural chemistry
- Electrochemistry
- Inorganic chemistry and technology
- Polymers
- Chemical engineering
- Biotechnology and computers in chemistry
- Textile engineering
- Metallurgy
- Education in chemistry
In order to continue this excellent tradition we ask you to participate at ICOSEC 5 and the XIX Congress of the Chemists and Technologists of Macedonia.
