CALL FOR PAPERS
You are invited to participate in The 2006 Global Conference on Business and Finance (GCBF). The conference, sponsored by The Institute for Business and Finance Research (IBFR), will be held from May 31 thru June 3, 2006 at the Hotel Herradura: Golf Resort and Conference Center in San Jose, Costa Rica.
Papers in all areas of business, economics, business education and related fields are welcome. Both theoretical and empirical papers are welcome. English and Spanish language sessions will be offered. Proposals for special sessions are welcome.
The GCBF is affiliated with the International Journal of Business and Finance Research (IJBFR), a peer reviewed academic journal. Papers that are awarded the Outstanding Research Award at the conference will be offered publication in the Journal. We anticipate that 10 to 20 percent of papers submitted will receive the Outstanding Research Award. In addition, papers receiving the Best Paper in Session Award will automatically be reviewed for possible publication in the Journal.
Abstracts and Papers can be submitted by e-mail to submissions@theIBFR.com. The deadline for submissions is March 17, 2006.
A complimentary placement book will be provided for registered conference participants.
